Motor connection to the power bus now less expensive

Motors of various manufacturers can be coupled to the podis power bus system from Wieland through specific interface modules. The modules can be pre-assembled with cables and the relevant motor connectors on the free ends. The motor is connected directly or by using a pluggable connector.

On the newly designed podis MOT FACS 3I/1I4O module, however, the female connector is integrated into the housing of the podis MOT interface module, while the connector is attached to the motor cable. The compact connectors of the revos MOT series from Wieland Electric are used for this purpose. This reverse installation option provides the user with a less expensive connection type. AS-Interface is connected using M12 connectors. The interface modules are suitable for use in rough industrial environments and meet the IP 65 protection degree.

The current switching state is displayed by LEDs on the top of the module.

With the podis power bus system, remote automation solutions can be installed and implemented more quickly in all fields of logistics and conveyor technology. The podis power bus can supply remote systems with a power of up to 20kW/ 35A. It is successfully used by renowned automotive manufacturers and is especially suited for the industries of intralogistics, airport logistics, packaging technology, and mechanical engineering.
