IRCAM Infrared Lenses

IRCAM Infrared lenses are designed to operate in a certain spectral sub-range, the so-called “atmospheric windows”, which are defined as: SWIR: 1.5 µm - 3 µm, MWIR: 3 µm - 5 µm, LWIR: 8 µm - 14 µm.

The IRCAM IR lenses for Mid-wavelenth (MWIR) und Long-wavelenth (LWIR) infrared, use several lenses which are made of silicon, germanium or zinc-selenide. To obtain maximum transmission, all lens surfaces have anti-reflection coatings. A wide range of high-value IR lenses with different F-numbers and focal lengths, from microscope lenses to ultra wide-angle lenses is offered. The lenses can optionally be equipped with a motorized focus.
