Automate Method SOP’s for Greater Efficiency and Fewer Errors

The execution of methods for analytical testing is defined by guidelines, so called standard operating procedures (SOPs). They must be followed in order to ensure and document a consistent procedure. Usually manual or paper-driven guidelines are used and after performing the tests the results are documented manually as well. This approach is complex and prone to errors, lacks an efficient storage, and retrieval of the guidelines and version control of the GMP documents is difficult.

The solution is a workflow oriented software package that guides the analyst through method execution and allows an easy integration of test results. It reduces process time and the probability of human errors. The implementation is easy, quick and intuitive. The Waters SDMS Intelligent Procedure Manager provides exactly this functionality – however without the preceding effort of a laborious LIMS implementation. It is possible to combine a working instruction with data entry, integration of instrument und chemicals inventories. It is combined with an automatic capture of test values and complex analysis measurement and results in one single electronic document.

With the Intelligent Procedure Manager it is possible to streamline the workflow in the GMP laboratory, to make it more efficient and secure.
