Red Dot Award

For more than 40 years Hirschmann Laborgeräte in Germany is one of the leading labware manufacturer and stands for high quality products. Nowadays the product design is one of the key factors for Hirschmann. In 2002 Hirschmann won the „iF-Design Award" and the „red dot award: product design" for the digital burette solarus. This year Hirschmann won the „red dot award: product design" for the pipetus family, including the pipetus, pipetus junior and pipetus standard. The jury highly valued the consequent realisation of shapes in the whole range of their pipette fillers. The red dot design award ranks among the largest design competitions worldwide. Since 1955, the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen Germany has been marking outstanding international product design with its famous dot. In 2000, Design Innovations – as the competition was previously called – was given a new, international name: the red dot award: product design. Because of being a „red dot award: product design winner 2005", Hirschmann Laborgeräte decided to launch a limited edition „pipetus reddot" at an attractive price combined with the well known product quality, reliability and longevity.
