Argonite – Inert-gas extinguishing system reduces number of extinguishant cylinders by about 30%. / Argonite fire extinguishing system

Kidde Brand - und Explosionsschutz developed the 300 bar Argonite-system as a customer orientated alternative to the established 200 bar Inert-gas-system to reduce the number of extinguishing agent cylinders by 30%. The Argonite fire extinguishing system, which consists of 50% nitrogen and 50% argon, reduces the oxygen concentration on a value to which persons can be exposed to, for a short period of time.
