This means that it can now offer a total one-stop solution, covering not just the cubes, but also the Netpix controllers for actuation of the individual image cubes in a large screen and the intelligent wall management software Eyecon, which are now also manufactured by the company itself. The new EC series has been specially designed for running in continuous operation. Particular importance was placed in the process on potential applications in environments with critical lighting conditions or other safety-relevant problems. The background: particularly in this type of sensitive application area – such as control rooms and monitoring centres – totally reliable display technology and excellent image quality are essential requirements. As soon as Texas Instruments launched the DLP technology, Eyevis specialised in this new technology, which from the start was a revolutionary and superior solution in the field of image processing. The image quality which can be achieved was enough to convince the experts in the company, explained Eric Hénique, Director of Marketing and International Sales. This quality is based on a chain of top quality components which interact perfectly, resulting in images which combine total sharpness of image with a picture full of contrast, offering the best in brightness and uniformity of colour tones. Other advantages include the extremely wide viewing angle and the automatic brightness control and colour compensation – allowing the system to be perfectly optimised for every system.
