Compact IPC alternative system
The MSX-Box by Addi-Data is a compact IPC alternative system that works as a stand alone complete solution for decentralized tasks in control, regulation and acquisition of measurement data and as data logger.
Equipped with standard components like PCI backplane, PCI I/O boards, CPU etc. the MSX-Box works without wearing parts like hard disk, drive, keyboard, etc. It can be integrated easily into small 19" racks or mounted on a rail. Its openness allows integrating PCI measurement boards from several suppliers.
Via Ethernet (TCP/IP), field bus or RS232 interfaces measurement data can be exchanged with other systems. The self-developed CPU was carefully selected in order to achieve a long-term availability. Addi-Data offers individual workshops for the MSX-Box.
