Adaptation wizard

Standard on the one hand, individual integration on the other – that’s the concept of the VTSA valve terminal which conforms to ISO 15407-2 with 26 mm (ISO 01) and
18 mm (ISO 02) standard valves. It not only unites pneumatic and electrical functions, it can also be expanded all the way up to a complete installation. Standardisation is thus combined with system flexibility and modularity.

No matter whether the automotive, woodworking or packaging industry is involved, the valve terminal’s outstanding versatility ensures that it can be ideally adapted to the customer’s needs, and subsequently modified or expanded in order to meet changing requirements – including mixed sizes for consumption optimised configurations. The extensive range of accessories guarantees that the product is ideally matched to prevailing conditions of use and the application. This also applies to the various connection options.

Integration made easy

The VTSA valve terminal can be easily integrated into all common fieldbus systems or Ethernet via the CPX terminal, thus expanding the range of possible applications. Terminal boxes, multi-pin connection and the entire CPX modular system are available for electrical actuation. The CPX diagnostic option helps minimise downtime, increase availability and reduce operating costs.

Flexible standard, rugged modularity

The modular system, which includes selection options for the electrical interface, makes it possible to upgrade or change the electrical connection with only minimal effort. The sub-base system is also modular: Two sizes, namely 18 mm (ISO 02) and 26 mm (ISO 01), can be combined without an adapter. This reduces size and saves installation space in the machine or control cabinet. Installation is accomplished by means of easy access to the terminals. With selectable voltage (24 V DC or 110 V AC), auxiliary pilot air (ducted or non-ducted) and manual override (non-detenting, detenting or without), the plug-in valve terminal can be readily configured for any requirements.

Everything under control

Reliability and error recognition – the integrated diagnostics concept makes this possible. Faulty valves, short-circuited coils and supply power failure are quickly detected on-site via LED, or by means of the CPX-MMI manual control device. Acknowledgement to the controller is transmitted via the fieldbus. A swivelling pressure gauge on the pressure regulator ensures easy reading, and the large inscription labels on the valves and sub-bases facilitate easy identification.
