Local and remote measured value detection with VEGASCAN 693

The new VEGASCAN 693 is a data collector for recording and transmitting the measured values of up to 15 HART sensors via Ethernet and telephone networks. The instrument also serves as power supply for the connected sensors. The detected measured values can be displayed in different physical measuring units.

VEGASCAN 693 is available with RS 232 interface or Ethernet connection. The RS 232 interface is primarily used for easy connection to an analogue, ISDN or GSM modem with serial interface. With the Ethernet connection, control and SCADA systems can retrieve measured data via the protocol "Modbus via TCP/IP".

Both versions enable easy visualisation of measured values in a chart by means of a web browser such as e.g. the Internet Explorer. For more extensive visualisation, Visual VEGA offers the ideal solution: the Windows software allows comprehensive measured value enquiries and presentation options, even with widely distributed measurement loops.

Through time, event or status-controlled e-mail transmission, the signal conditioning instruments can automatically transfer the actual values via PC networks or over the telephone network. Remote parameter adjustment via the adjustment software PACTware can also be carried out.
