Special Custom-built Calorimeters

Setaram Instrumentation has just delivered two "custom-built" calorimeters to the Military Applications Department of the CEA (Atomic Energy Commission) center in Valduc, France. These two calorimeters, which are intended for the characterization of nuclear materials, and more particularly for the study of radioactive waste and the quantification of radioactive elements and isotopes such as curium, plutonium and tritium, display astounding technical characteristics, e.g. a very large capacity and an excellent level of sensitivity.
