Growing resolutions in the uEye® USB2.0 camera family

Accurate images which allow better detection and processing are the highlights of the new uEye family members UI-1450-C and UI-1460-C from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH. The colour cameras with 2 and 3.1 Mega pixels are equipped with high quality ½” CMOS sensors.

Additionally to the high resolution, the cameras have also a high sensitivity. They can handle frame rates with 16 or 10 f/s in full frame mode. Using an Area of Interest (AOI), frame rates of 100 f/s are possible. In spite of the increased resolution, the form factor of the cameras has not changed. With 34 x 32 x 27,4mm, the housing has the same size as the known models with lower resolution.

Features like sub sampling and binning (UI-1460-C only) and the trigger input and digital output increase the range of application. The new models also come with the powerful SDK, demo programs, different drivers and interfaces. Options like cables with angled connector are available.
