Measuring Station for Electrolytic Conductivity

ProMinent will enhance its metering technology product line for the measurement and control of electrolytic conductivity by introducing a new measurement/control station, based on the advantages of the inductive measuring principle. This measuring technology differs from the conventional "conductive" principle in that no electrodes whatsoever are exposed to the medium to be measured. The measuring signal is induced and detected by means of two coils enclosed in a chemically resistant material. This measurement technology, that dispenses with electrodes, provides benefits like e.g. servicing requirements reduced to a minimum also in complex media and high availability of accurate measuring data with the associated increase in process reliability also in complex media.
