Automatic test system in mini-format

The automation of test processes implies a great rationalization potential. Particularly for the automatic performance of tensile tests on plastic and metal specimens according to ISO 527 resp. EN 10002-1 Zwick, Ulm-based manufacturer of testing machines, has developed an automatic test system in mini-format. The purchase costs for this automatic mini-format test system will pay off in no time when performing standard and routine tests.

The space-saving system consists of a testing machine and a mini handling system offering the possibility for a retrofitting for most of the available Zwick load frames. The magazine can hold up to 20 specimens. Manual tests can also be performed.

The entire test is controlled and monitored by the universal test software testXpert . Due to the high positioning accuracy, subjective influences by the user are excluded and the reproducibility of the test conditions is guaranteed. Event-controlled system messages can be sent by email, SMS or phone. A message can for example be sent as soon as all specimens are tested or if a measured value is outside the tolerance limits. Even a batch may thus be released by the responsible person.

The system does not only relieve the user from routine tests; the purchase of such a system is also very interesting from the economic point of view. The higher costs for the automatic module – compared to the costs for the manual testing machine - will pay off within a short time.
