CompactSpec II – the Next Generation of UV-VIS Process Spectrometer Systems

The new UV-VIS spectrometer system CompactSpec II was introduced by tec5 during Analytica. Based on fast and reliable detector array and Xe flashlamp technology with high endurance it is ideal for demanding process applications. In addition, solarization-free UV light guide technology allows fiber-optic spectroscopy down to 195nm.

For easy use, a process computer in conjunction with a TFT touchscreen is integrated in a stainless steel cabinet (IP65). The system is as well available as an ex proofed version. Up to three measurement channels provide the option to acquire spectral data at three different locations, a separate reference channel guarantees drift free operation.

A multi-purpose software package MultiSpec Pro controls the system, together with modules for process communication, color determination or chemometrics (interfaces to The Unscrambler, NIRCAL, GRAMS) complete the system. Alternatively, programming tools for C, C++, VB, Delphi as well as LabVIEWTM are available.
