New digital recorder series - "Titan-X"

SANYO VIDEO VERTRIEB AG presents the latest generation SANTEC digital recorder series under the name TITAN-X. The SDVR-1/X0 is a digital 1 channel recorder and the SDVR-4/X a digital 4 channel recorder. Both devices have a compact, elegant black housing which has been designed in such a way as to allow two recorders to be located side by side in a 19" rack.

The 1 channel SDVR-1/X0 can be connected to virtually all common multiplexers, whereas the 4 channel boasts an intelligent quad compressor. Picture quality is very good regardless whether displaying live images or playing back recorded images. Both TITAN-X models stand out thanks to their ease of use. Using M-JPEG compression, the recorders store 50 half frames per second or 25 frames per second onto the built-in 80 GB hard disk drive. In this way, it is possible to record up to 8000 hours depending on the chosen picture quality setting from the four modes available. There are four recording modes: timer record, manual, alarm recording, or periodic recording. All TITAN-X recorders feature alarm inputs.
