Awards for Innovation

In the "Textile and Building Innovation" contest organised by the architectural journal "AIT", a jury of renowned architects and interior designers awarded a total of eleven prizes. The award in the highest category, the "Textile and Building Innovation Award", was conferred twice - once on Schmitz-Werke GmbH & Co. KG for its new "drapilux air" generation of decorative fabrics with a catalytic effect, and once on AS Creation Tapeten AG for its "World of Glass" wallpaper. This brand new, low-flammability wall covering has a new 3D look, is permeable to air and absorbs sound. After the ceremony, all of the products were put on show in a special exhibition.
