This product line includes check-in installations, conveying equipment and container transport systems with the corresponding system controls, central computers and accessory units. Applying the latest technology, up to 10,000 pieces of baggage can be handled in one hour. The international airports in Frankfurt, Zurich, Geneva, Kansai/Osaka, Brussels, Sydney, Schiphol/Amsterdam and Hamburg all have been equipped with Beumer baggage handling systems. Beumer's autover system comprises a simple static sensorless and driveless track and a number of smart Beumer autoca DCVs. Outstanding features of this system are the contactless energy supply and the fast RF-communication of the Beumer autoca. The system combines the reliable conveying, buffering and sorting of baggage with speeds up to 10 m/s.
