The K 470-Akku Safe Universal is a tested and approved dangerous goods packaging solution for lithium-ion batteries. It is designed for the transport and storage of prototypes, damaged, defective, and critically defective batteries, compliant with SV 376 and P911 ADR. In tests the K 470-Akku Safe Universal withstood nominal energies of over 1,000 watt hours (licensing up to 1,384 watt).

Due to the high puncture resistance as well as a maximum temperature of the outer shell of below 100 °C, it is a proven solution for industrial safety in logistics, power tools and electromobility. Compliant with IATA DGR, the packaging solution for lithium batteries also qualifies for use in air transport.
