The earlier a defect is recognized the lesser the resulting damage. Accordingly, it is helpful to be able to smell a fire before it occurs. The SNIFF & SAVE solution makes exactly that possible: With smoke flavors bound to glucose, which are released from 100 °C, systems receive additional protection.

Overheating thus becomes intuitively perceptible to humans and can be quickly detected by olfactory sensors and also integrated into electronic systems. Due to the low trigger temperature, the system offers a better prewarning time than by smoke, which is only build at much higher temperatures. SNIFF & SAVE is applicable as sticker, spray or by pen.
