RK Safelock is a locking system designed to be integrated into gravity-loaded linear units in a vertical or diagonal position. The fall protection fulfils the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, according to which gravity-loaded axles must be prevented from unintentional lowering. Performance level PL d is achievable - PL e as redundant version on request.

As the integrated system works independently of the motor brake, it blocks the axle even if the motor or drive unit is dismantled and the brake fails. The safety device releases independently of an operator when the pressure drops. Accidents during maintenance work caused by falling slides are ruled out.
