The Input Module for optoelectronic protective devices is one of the first products with ASi-5 safety technology. The IP67-rated module has 2 x 2 channel safe inputs and 12 self-configuring I/Os for non-safe signals, allowing it to be used for many different applications. The safety module is connected via ASi profile cable.

The in- and outputs are supplied from AUX, the connection to the periphery is realized via eight M12 sockets (5-pole). ASi-5 Safety perfectly complements ASi Safety at Work whenever several safe signals or a combination of safe and non-safe signals are to be transmitted.
