LMI: Gocator 3520 3D sensor

For medium-sized scanning applications, such as in the automotive industry, LMI Technologies has developed a 3D smart sensor with fringe light projection and 5 megapixels. The 3D sensor offers a balance between resolution and field of view. The Gocator 3520 combines VDE accuracy of up to 10 microns with a 282 x 175 mm field of view to detect and inspect medium-sized objects in the automotive industry with a single scan. For example, when inspecting lug nuts, the Gocator 3520 can scan all four lug nuts at once. The Gocator 3520 has a scanning speed of 3 Hz over the entire measuring range (with acceleration).
