Fast-speed camera based on PCI Express interface

The PCIe interface allows the camera to stream data at speeds from 20 Gbit/s to as high as 64 Gbit/s depending on the generation used - Gen2 or Gen3 respectively. The transfer can be carried over a distance of up to 300m using fiber optics cables.

The camera delivers the data directly to PC memory (DMA), thus making the latency exceptionally low. No need for expensive frame grabbers or special, complicated software. The camera resolution ranges from 4K to 8K with sensors like CMOSIS CMV12000, CMV20000, CMV50000 providing 12, 20 or 50 Mpix. The camera’s data and control interface is fully compliant with PCI Express External Cabling Specifications, which allows up to 64 Gbit/s and a real data throughput of 7000 MB/s.
