LED Light Source

Up to 20.000 hours life time, very high stability combined with lowest noise (peak to peak noise 2% for 24 hours operation) are general advantages of LED light sources. With the new Omicron LedHUB® AHF offers a LED light source that has even greater additional advantages.

All LEDs are actively cooled, meaning there will be no wavelength shift during its usage. An easily programmable built-in function generator and exchangeable excitation filter plus analog-/digital in-/outputs make this system perfect for demanding users.

The LedHUB® can be equipped with a maximum of six LEDs, but it is possible to start only with one and to extend it with additional LEDs over time. Specific LED single and multiband filter sets will allow a perfect match to the specific LEDs of the light source. New designs also in smaller quantities can be offered as well as a very wide product range of standard filters.
