E. Dold & Söhne: Safemaster STS - Robust Option Module

An Option Module extends the Safemaster STS safety switch and key transfer system with simple command, report and emergency stop functions. The system now becomes a control center from where command functions, status reports, activations as well as primary and maintenance access can be controlled.

The option module can be installed directly underneath switch and solenoid lock units in the same type of  housing and be simply connected via plug-in connectors. The narrow housing permits space-saving installation on a safe guarding fence. The option module thereby enables direct command response at machine and system interfaces. This requires a quicker operation of the control device and a higher system availability.
