Innovative Generation of Intelligent Cameras

The new VC Z series feature an innovative hardware and software approach. All models are equipped with Xilinx’ Zynq module, an ARM dual-core Cortex-A9 with 866 MHz and an integrated FPGA. Users thus gain extremely fast real-time image processing systems suitable for demanding high-speed and line scan applications.

The new operating system VC Linux ensures optimal interaction between hardware and software. The Z series is based on the board level VCSBC nano Z. They are optionally available with one or two remote sensor heads and thus suitable for stereo applications. Users can choose between two enclosed camera types: the VC nano Z and the VC pro Z with IP67 rating featuring integrated lighting and optics as option. All models feature 512 MB RAM and 16 GB Flash as well as five global shutter CMOS sensors providing resolutions between Wide VGA and 4.2 megapixels.
