WinGuard is an open software platform, integrating diverse security and building management systems as well as communication systems by different manufacturers. Proprietary interfaces allow transmission of event messages and function control of the connected systems.  The system states are displayed all in one single user interface.

This means a uniform and intuitive operation of many various systems. In addition, WinGuard offers program-controlled measures in case of an incoming event message – for a quick and secure resolution of the situation.

Using WinGuard as centralized management system reduces purchasing and maintenance costs for other control units as well as personnel and training costs.  The modular extensibility of the management system offers high investment protection. Due to individually adapted modules for particular functions, systems, workflows or verticals, WinGuard also responds to specific requirements. Modern GUI
In addition to a modern look, the WinGuard user interface offers versatile design possibilities due to the interactive Layout Manager.  The user works with an interactive man-machine-interface that is providing contents according to the situation.  Maintaining an overview even in eventful situations and taking the appropriate actions means highest security.

Event Workflows
Depending on the surrounding conditions and the user’s own entries into the system, the WinGuard Event Workflows guide the user through the required actions to resolve the situation quickly and securely. This leads to a significant simplification of daily operation. Furthermore they offer innovative possibilities for individual sequence control and organization of event message processing.

Attachments
The management of attachments allows the adding of floor plans, video images or comments to the event messages. External files such as word documents, mails or pictures can be attached as well. All measures are logged and stored together with the event message and the attachments in a protected archive. This enables to furnish proof of the correct event processing anytime.

Licensing
The WinGuard license model comprises four different basic systems that can be further extended by optional modules. Starting with a standalone system up to a network solution, WinGuard is applied in diverse sectors. Licensing can be realized both via hardware dongles or softkeys which facilitates the application of WinGuard in virtual environments.

Security and stability
Scalability, redundancy and high availability are indispensable for a secure and stable system.  The WinGuard location and redundancy concept enables the establishment of complex fallback scenarios. As a matter of principle WinGuard works with encrypted connections. The system availability is ensured via Hot-Standby, as the replacement system is continuously having available the complete data pool of the main system.

Norms and Standards
As company certified according to ISO 9001:2008, a constant quality management is a vital part of all work processes at Advancis. The management system WinGuard complies with the requirements of the norms DIN EN 50518 as well as VdS 3534 and with the Austrian norm F3003.
