White Illumination for Transmitted Applications

CoolLED’s LED technology offers an attractive alternative to the Halogen lamps previously used for broad-spectrum illumination through the transmitted port of a microscope. A significant advantage offered by LEDs is that the Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) figure remains fixed and stable with changes in intensity. This means the color of illumination remains constant throughout its lifetime!

The pE-100-WH1 is a simple to operate, LED illumination unit which provides a broad-spectrum white output suitable for use on the transmitted port of a microscope. Each unit comprises an LED head with specified fitting to your microscope, a control pod with BNC input for TTL trigger, and a universal power supply.
