Improved PCR Workflow

Hoefer has introduced, the high througput submarin gel electrophoresis unit (Subht) 96-well plates with a Thermal Cycler: Developed to improve 96-well PCR workflow, this specialized unit with a 15 x 15cm fluorescently labeled running tray allows to rapidly load and run samples from a 96-well plate using a multi-channel pipette for fast, easy and error free analysis. The high throughput design, ideal for screening applications like single strand polymorphism (SSP) analysis following PCR, can accommodate up to 120 samples (96 samples + 24 markers) and resolves DNA strands from 50-1000 base pairs in 30 minutes.
