Laboratory Bioreactors

Sartorius Stedim Biotech (SSB) is bringing a completely revamped generation of its bioreactor series out on the market: Biostat B. This autoclavable fermentor / bioreactor covers the wide variety of requirements in biotechnological and biopharmaceutical research and development. It can be supplied as a flexible basic unit for preclinical research on up to a ready-configured, fully qualified bioreactor system that meets the requirements of a validated GMP environment.

The modular-designed system’s control unit is available as a single or twin version and can thus control up to two culture vessels simultaneously and independently. For the vessels, users can opt for two-liter, single-use polycarbonate bioreactors or reusable stirred glass bioreactors with volumes of one, two, five or ten liters, depending on their needs. The system is suitable for both microbial fermentation and cell cultivation applications.
