Ca2+ Imaging with Tunable Filters

For Ca²⁺ Imaging with Fura 340 nm and 380 nm excitation will be necessary. The new UV-tunable filter allows an extreme quick switch within these two wavelengths with one filter: From its center bandwidth of 380 nm it can be shifted just by tuning to 60 degrees to the center wavelength of 340 nm. Its bandwith of 20 nm and transmission intensity will not change.

In combination with the Tunebox the filter can be controlled by software.
This Tunebox which includes the tunable filter will be installed between lamp housing and microscope, light transfer will be handled by light guides. AHF analysentechnik will offer these tunable filters also for DEMO.
