Worldwide the first fire protection closure without side guides was invented by Stöbich. The patented system with heat insulation is invisibly integrated in the installation situation. In operating condition the Hidden Shield lays folded and by this hidden in the lintel area of the opening. During an alarm the system closes speed-controlled and without auxiliary energy.

The embrasure provides the guiding and makes conventional side guides unnecessary. The system is planned as an insulating system according to EN 13501-2 (> E 120 und EI 60/90) and openings of 8 x 4 m. Target is the official confirmation for previous tests and the development for larger openings. Due to his hidden installation the Hidden Shield offers completely new design possibilities to architects and planers and makes it highly attractive for sophisticated architecture.
