The Almemo® 5690 recording devices are now available in different designs to suit any mounting application. Whether it be ceiling, desk, or wall mounting, with or without display, sensor inputs at the bottom front or rear, the base of the device remains the same.

Wear-free relays, electrical isolation between measuring inputs, and a high resolution 24 bit AD converter are just some of the characteristics which distinguish these high-precision measurement instruments. Even in the standard version a number of functions are used to record and analyze test data and make it useful for a variety of measurement applications. The connection of any sensor is via smart connectors or terminal blocks. The input connectors include a storage medium in which the specific probe characteristics including corrective scaling values or limits are stored.

Furthermore the sensors are completely interchangeable with each other. A special feature of these devices is that non linear sensor outputs can be linearized by the user. The data for this is stored in the connector which includes a locking mechanism at different levels for measurement reliability. Data can be transferred via a cable or wirelessly, and can communicate with other measurement devices in individual test sites. Professional software is available for data analysis.
