Fritschs mortar mill Pulverisette 2 is designed to grind 10-20 tablets for analyzing purposes. To prevent ingredients from disappearing due to the application of energy, the mortar mill is the right choice: The grinding action of the pestle does not increase the temperature during the grinding process. The pharmaceutical ingredients remain constant. After a grinding time of 1-5 minutes a homogenous powder is achieved with a particle size of < 100 µm. The company recommends grinding sets made of agate or hard porcelain.
