Düsseldorf - Junly, 2008 - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech has introduced a versatile new Embedded Automation Computer, the UNO-1150. UNO-1150 is an x86-based DIN-rail Embedded Automation Computer, and includes the UNO series renowned compact aluminum chassis with a fanless & diskless design, which operates reliable even under extremely high temperatures (up to 60°C). Moreover, it provides rich interfaces such as 2 Ethernet LAN, 3 serial ports, 2 USB ports and Audio. UNO-1150's front-accessibility makes it convenient for wiring, and its DIN-rail design allows easy installation. With rich OS and driver support, such as Windows XP embedded, WinCE 6.0, and even embedded Linux, users can integrate applications easily. With all of these great features, the UNO-1150 is proven excellent for SCADA RTU, warehouse, and environment monitoring applications.

UNO-1150 comes with an AMD GX2 400MHz CPU and 256MB DDR SDRAM which provides high computing ability, above what most device-level controllers offer. UNO-1150 offers rich peripheral interfaces; with 2 Ethernet ports it provides high-speed networking capability, and 1 RS-232 and 2 RS-232/422/485 ports to control serial devices. Furthermore, 2 USB ports with OpenHCI rev 1.1 compliance provides support for versatile peripherals, and 1 CF slot allows for data buffer or storage.

UNO-1150 is available with a pre-configured Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded image with optimized onboard device drivers. Microsoft Embedded solutions provide a compact, highly efficient, operating system designed for embedded systems without mechanical HDD limitations.
