QImaging designs, manufactures and markets high performance digital FireWire and USB 2.0 cameras for imaging in life science and industrial applications. Different from digital consumer Cameras you have a live preview on your computer screen and can work on the principle “what you see is what you get”.
All cameras come with the QCapture Software for both PC and Mac that allows control of all camera parameters and archiving of images. Some Cameras include the QCapture-Pro Software which enables the user to grab time-lapse movies of processes in your laboratory as well as image calibration, measurement and overlay of different color channels. Both QCapture Software packages. A free of charge SDK allows use of the Cameras under LabView^® from National Instruments. Combined with Image-Pro Plus Software from Media Cybernetics one can even control most of the motorized research microscopes available today.

QImaging Cameras are available for Visual and IR Imaging and have CCD Chips from VGA to 5.5 Megapixel as monochrome or Color. The Retiga-Mgi series has an Electron-Multiplication (EM) CCD-chip which is suitable for any kind of low light Imaging (Bioluminescence) or for single Molecule detection and TIRF microscopy.
