Safety Light Curtains

The new SL-CF safety light curtains from Keyence are particularly suited for finger protection as they have a beam axis distance (centre to centre) of only 10 mm. 15 different models are available. The recognition zone (height) goes up to 1.270 mm (= 128 beam axes). The new SL-CHM models by comparison are extremely durable as they are protected by a stable aluminium profile. There are 18 models with 12-96 beam axes; maximum beam width is 9 m. None of the safety curtains have dead zones. They can be mounted adjacent to one another and therefore always provide complete area protection, even when mounted edge-to-edge. A proprietary bus system permits the easy connection of up to four light curtains together with a serial cable in a security-related manner. Comprehensive fade-out and deactivation functions can also be programmed. All safety light curtains from the Company are approved to international safety standards such as CE, TÜV and UL guidelines.
