MTZ® Hotel Solutions: access systems and security systems specially tailored for hotels (access control for Hotels, hotel locking system)

From alarms to time management
With MTZ® Hotel Solutions MIDITEC offers access and security systems specially tailored for hotels.

In hotels it is not only the guests who change frequently, staff and suppliers come and go too. Access control systems and security solutions are very important but they have to suit the image of the hotel. In MTZ® Hotel Solutions MIDITEC has put together a package of flexible modules which are easy to combine and which not only offer guests a high level of convenience but also improve the hotel’s profitability and the security for people and the buildings. A co-operation with ABB Busch-Jaeger Elektro enabled online access control and modern building systems to be linked together. This laid the foundation for cutting edge solutions for room automation such as air conditioning and light controls using RFID entry cards.

Everything from the Milock hotel locking system to the hotel style access control reader are designed to meet the individual needs of the hotel trade. MIDITEC achieves this by working with some well-known designers to ensure visual harmony. In addition as required MIDITEC develops special solutions to integrate existing fittings into the new security system.

Ideal access control with MTZ® Milock Hotel Access
Owing to the flexibility of RFID transponders, cards can also be used not only for opening doors, but also for carrying data relating to use of the solarium or swimming pool. They can also be loaded with cash. Transponder cards have the advantage over magnetic cards that they don’t fail and don’t suffer wear and tear because their operation is contactless.

The online and offline components of the modularly constructed system are freely combinable. The MTZ® Milock Hotel Access application is operated via a web browser and works with a central database. For rooms with Milock locks, access rights can be assigned to guests and staff for particular rooms or groups of rooms. These rights can be managed and set up with specific time limits for access. There are interfaces for all important PMS programs.

In addition the online system enables doors to be monitored and alarmed, cards to be immediately activated or blocked, as well as supporting analysis about bookings and staff deployment.

The combined on- and offline MTZ® Milock Hotel Access control system can be expanded seamlessly with additional MTZ® Hotel Solutions modules. These include the staff time management module which itself can be expanded with an integrated ID-issuing facility. Similarly video monitoring of sensitive entrance areas such as car parks and lifts is becoming more important, as is the integration of intruder alarms particularly for protecting crucial areas such as the safe and storage rooms. Every module is flexible and tailored for the individual needs of the customer.

The hotel using MTZ® Hotel Solutions gains sovereignty inside and out.
