Imaging Module – Modular image acquisition systems

Perfect integration in custom-adapted image processing systems is warranted by imaging modules from Jenoptik. A modular setup of sensor and data processing electronics facilitates system integration even in cases where there is little space for mounting.

Depending on the individual Customer request, they may include CMOS and CCD sensors of one to eleven mega-pixel resolving power. Easy and flexible system integration are warranted through standard industrial interfaces, for example, FireWire IEEE 1394-a or IEEE 1394-b for data processing, by optional sensor cooling, C-mount facility, a trigger input and a trigger output.

Image recording is controlled by software with a graphical user screen for Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh operating systems, TWAIN drivers, ActiveX-Control or using the custom-designed Software Development Kit (SDK) with C-interface. In particular the SDK allows individualized and full access to the image acquisition system and the various image files.
