Heinen Drying is displaying a continuous pilot plant that will be delivered to a customer from the pharmaceutical industry. It is designed for continuous and homogeneous drying of various extrudates in pilot scale, prepared for the production plant already existing.

The system operates at a continuous throughput of 22 to 44 kg/h of humid product which is dried at low temperatures in a defined period. Due to the coarse particle structure of the product, the system is not equipped with integrated filters, but with an exhaust air filter that can be cleaned.

The conditioned inlet air is fed via a 3-zone air distributor and evenly distributed into the drying chambers through a sieve bottom
