Quantum Yields – Quick and easy

Absolute fluorescence quantum yields of liquids as well and powders and thin films are easily obtained by the Hamamatsu Photonics C9920-02 system in a few minutes time. By applying the photoluminescence method for absolute measurements no time consuming comparison of reference samples is necessary any more!

The system consists of a Xe-lamp, a monochromator, an integrating sphere as sample chamber and a multi-channel spectrometer as detector which measures up to 50 spectra per second in a spectral range from 300 nm to 950 nm. The flexible fibre connections render the C9920 the best system for labs with limited space.
