Triggerable USB 2.0 Cameras

New from Sentech – the STC-T Series USB cameras with an external trigger option available in six different versions. In addition to colour and monochrome models, the cameras come with a choice of three different resolutions: VGA (640x480), XGA (1024x768) and UXGA (1600x1200).

Trigger Functionality

Camera connection is over a standard USB printer cable with a USB type B plug, or alternatively over the 12-pin Hirose connecter with a locking mechanism. The external trigger is also fed over these cables and a strobe signal for controlling a flash can be tapped.

VGA camera models deliver up to 60 fps (XGA up to 30 fps, UXGA up to 15 fps). The compact design dimensioned at only 51 x 51 x 44.3 mm guarantees simple operation and installation.

The available DirectX and TWAIN drivers ensure camera compatibility with all standard software that also supports this interface. The maximum possible USB-port data rate of 480 Mbit/s means the resolution and refresh rate are interdependent: the higher the resolution, the lower the refresh rate, and vice versa.
The Sentech USB cameras are fully configurable with the software included in the shipping package.
