IDENTControl supports the 13.56 MHz Standard

The mixed operation of different ident systems is one of the greatest advantages of the Pepperl+Fuchs IDENT Control System. This advantage is now further strengthened with the support of the 13.56 MHz devices. The very wide range of available read/write devices can be used to reliably solve any application.

In addition to 125 kHz, 250 kHz and 2.45 GHz, the IDENTControl System now also supports 13.56 MHz. This frequency range is frequently used in goods logistics for both closed and open circuits, because favorably priced transponders for this system are available in the form of labels. But Pepperl+Fuchs also offers housed and therefore robust data carriers in the form of a cheque card and in a surface mounted version for metal, together with M18 read/write heads, square-shaped 80x80x60 mm and 300x300x40 mm versions. The large antenna provides read ranges of up to 40 cm. The read/write heads can be simply connected to the current field buses Profibus, DeviceNet and Ethernet via the IDENT Control evaluation unit. The display of data and command inputs via function buttons on site facilitates simple commissioning. The robust and universally usable metal housing of the IDENT Control is suitable for both control cabinet installation and field mounting and provides maximum interference immunity from external electromagnetic influence.
