Efficient Multiplex Detection of Pathogens
The new QIAplex products* from Qiagen enable multiplex detection of pathogens. ResPlex I and ResPlex II Panels detect respiratory viruses and bacteria, while the StaphPlex Panel identifies staphylococcus and MRSA.
The proprietary QIAplex amplification technology allows simultaneous and highly sensitive detection of multiple pathogens in one reaction from one test. It is based on PCR and very easy to use.
The QIAplex assays are for use on the LiquiChip 200 Workstation* (xMAP technology, Luminex) in combination with the QIAplex MDD software, which enable convenient research data evalution.
