Horiba Jobin Yvon presents the ACTIVA M, the Master in multi-line analysis by ICP-OES, combining instrumental performance with unique advanced software tools. The benefits of multi-line analysis are the efficient use of the information emitted by the ICP in the full 120800 nm spectrum, validation of line selection and verification of unexpected spectral and non-spectral interferences. The software tools emphasise these benefits, thanks to a new proprietary ICP-based Database, featuring not only wavelengths but also ionisation level, line width, limit of detection, dynamic range of each line, thus providing data that allows the combination of single-element spectra to mimic real-life samples.
