VS EmRunner 5403 is a powerful but cost effective embedded PC based on the new low power AMD Geode LX800 embedded CPU technology. This x86 compatible processor needs only 0.9W and delivers best performance "per watt". Designed with passive heat sink for cooling and using Compact Flash adapter as mass storage, VS-EmRunner 5403 doesn't use any service sensitive rotating components. This makes this IPC a "service free" device, well suited even for dusty and hot places. VS-EmRunner 5403 has a rich choice of peripherals: 4 x USB2.0, 3 x RS232, 1 x RS232/422/485 and 2 x Giga LAN can be used to run a broad range of applications in different industrial fields.
VS-EmRunner 5403 provides two independent Giga LAN ports (10/100/1000Tx), which allow creating two separated LAN networks. In Human Machine Interaction applications, system integrators like to distinguish between factory zone and data storage zone to reduce network collision and crash traffic or to avoid a virus infection.
