Unique New UV Optical Filters

Up to now the typical transmission of UV optical filters has been very low. The new series of hardcoated filters opens this field to new dimensions with UV filters with transmission between 70 90 %. For Tryptophan fluorescence a complete new UV filterset with a bandpass exciter at 280/20 nm and bandpass emitter at 357/55 nm and corresponding dichroic is available with high transmission, edge steepness and excellent blocking specifications. This filterset will be used for imaging aromatic amino acids and other UV-excited species. AHF Analysentechnik will offer this set in different microscope holders.
