Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE)

The new Rotaphor 6.0 is a powerful system for the separation of high molecular DNA. Molecules of se-veral Mega bases can be separated in an Agarose gel. In contrast to conventional PFGE systems with fixed electrodes, the Rotaphor 6.0 features a patented electrode Rotor that allows for truly free positioning of a homogeneous electrical field. Programming and control is done with convenient user software, which provides 17 optimized programs for different separation ranges. Each program is illustrated by a real gel photo, thus providing a good impression of how your experiment will look like. The Rotaphor electrophoresis chamber provides an integrated buffer circulation pump, so there is no more need for an external pump.
