e.reader

The new intelligent data logger e.reader can be used for long-term monitoring of buildings, constructions or machine elements. The data logger provides with eight analog voltage, current, resistance or Pt100 inputs, six digital I/Os and two relay outputs a base for a flexible expandable measurement setup with e.bloxx modules for higher requirements.

Particularly attractive for the user is the graphical programming possibility (PAC-function) of routines, calculations, combinations and first of all the flexible management of the 128 MByte data memory. The logger can read in continuous operation e. g. all eight input signals over a period of approx. 45 days around-the-clock with 1 Hz failure assured.

At many applications with long-term monitoring it is enough e. g. only each minute or all ten minutes values to measure or to store. In the so called Sleep-Mode it´s possible through periodic disconnection and waking up of the logger, to achieve an averaging power of only 100 mW (4 mA at 25 V). The minor power requirement allows the battery supplied supply of the device with solar energy, batteries or fuel cells in the free field. The device offers several communication interface, like RS485 (3x), RS232, Ethernet with modem or eMail communication.
