MWD BP

The improved MWD BP motion detector by FEIG ELECTRONIC replaces the MWD BF and offers various features for entrance control targeting industrial doors and barriers.

The list of adjustable standard parameters for the two channel device MWD BP covers ten parameters. Sensitivity and detection direction are the same as the model being replaced, the first innovation results from the parameters person- resp. vehicle identification. MWD BF only allowed the rejection of person identification, but the new MWD BP now allows to choose both parameters. So you are able to set exclusively vehicle identification on one channel and person identification on the other at the same time.

Additional new parameters are removement of cross traffic on the one hand and object tracking (very slow objects will be tracked after first detection to prevent the drop-out of the relay at a too early stage) on the other hand.

Further adjustment possibilities affect the relay: relay function (one-channel operation, two-channel operation), operation delay, drop-out delay and the operation principle of the relay (open-circuit current- or closed currend principle).

The setting-up the MWD BP is made simple with nine common profiles that are grouped logically. These nine pre-configurations represent the operation mode of typical door applications which can be choosen by the customer.
Existing profiles can be modified by using the pushbottens on the device or the optional remote control, MWD RC. The operator is guided by a 7-segment LED display.

Adjusting sensibility for both channels is the same as the directional logic.
The compact, IP65 plastic housing comes complete with mounting hardware for fast and easy installation.
